He was predeceased by: his parents, Ken Settelmyer and Margaret Settelmyer; and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his spouse Gail; his sons, Scott (Michele) and David (Jen); and his siblings, Marianne, Louise, Brant and Susan. He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (6001 N University St, Peoria, IL 61614).

Memorials in Harry's name, may be made to the Children's Home Association of Illinois or to the St. Vincent de Paul Society through St. Vincent Church.
