He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregorio Serangeli and Argenite Serangeli (Porcari); and his siblings, Joe Serangeli and Norma Rossi. He is survived by: his wife Sharon M. Bannon; his children, Gregory Serangeli, Jr. (Christine) of Washington, IL, Teresa Serangeli (Darren Fuller) of Chicago, IL and Michael Serangeli (Joanna Asia Gumiega) of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Kathryn, Vincent, Gregory Serangeli, Ethan, Isabella Fuller and Maksymilian Serangeli; his niece Norma Jean Mefford (Steve) of Pekin, IL; his nephew Joseph Serangeli; and his sister-in-law Mary Jo Pritchard (Michael).

Memorials in Greg's name may be made to St. Edward Catholic Church and School.
