He is survived by: his wife Joni (Newton); his former wife Pat Fagerburg (Hounihan) of Peoria; his stepmother Joyce Oberlander of Florida; his children, Sean Oberlander of Denver, CO and Stephanie Kalis (Scott) of Virginia Beach, VA; his stepchildren, Chais Carter of Peoria and Ian Carter of Wyoming, IL.; his grandchildren, Skye Kalis, Soleil Kalis and Dylan Carter; his siblings, Doug Oberlander (Karen) of Peoria, Dan Oberlander (MaryBeth) of Frederick, MD and Ruth Coonan (Gary) of Tennessee; and his nieces, Jennifer Mathews (Monte) and Jenelle Gray of Peoria. He is also survived by 7 great nieces and nephews.
