We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2024, at the age of 87, Grace Ellen Post of Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jabez Meister and Emma Meister (Kraft); her husband Gordon Post; and her siblings, Eldon Meister and Lynn Hedrick.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Douglas (Fred) of Dunlap and Jim Post (Debbie) of Blue Grass, Iowa; her grandchildren, Amy Beth of Dunlap, Jeffrey Douglas (Jenna) of Dunlap, Heather Kohlmeier (Pat) of Rockford and Amber McCormick (Matt) of Erie; and her siblings, Dale Meister of Peoria, May Meister of Peoria and Beth McCord of Garnett, Kansas. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to the Special Olympics or the Alzheimer's Association of Peoria.
