He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Kelly and Bertha Lee Kelly (Beard); and his brother Ural Garrett. He is survived by: his children, Janice Owens of Peoria, Marjorie Owens of Denver, CO, Glispon Owens, Jr. of Killeen, TX and Darryl Owens of Peoria; and his grandchildren, Jimmy Hughes, III, Eric Hughes and Jamaria Owens. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great-great grandson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
