With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald George Stevens of Peoria, Illinois, born in Watkins, Iowa, who passed away on February 27, 2024 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald George Stevens to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stevens Jr. and Mavis McGuilvery (Ilene); and his daughter Anita Stevens. He is survived by: his children, Eugene Stevens and Debra Swearingian (Robert); and his grandsons, Robert W. Swearingian (Tiffany), Ryan Swearingian (Angelique), Russell Swearingian (Kathy) and Randon Swearingian (Holly). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

In honor of Gerald, memorial contributions will be made to the Southside Mission.
