He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hootman and Ruth Hootman (Ellis); and his brother Alan Hootman (Pam). He is survived by: his wife Lynda Pasley; his children, Jim Hootman of Morton, John Hootman of Peoria and Jennifer Hootman of Lexington; his brother Mark Hootman (Carol) of Washington, Ill.; and his grandson Henry Strate-Hootman of Chicago.
