We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2022, at the age of 81, Garry Thomas Painter (Peoria, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence H. Painter and Leo F. Painter; and his grandchildren, Payton, Avery and Abigail Painter.

He is survived by: his caregiver Garry Thomas Painter; his wife Bernadine Greaff; his sister Karen Schauble (Francis); and his children, Amy (James), Joseph (Teressa) and Erica. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any non-kill animal shelter, Salesian Missions, or the Wounded Warrior Project.
