It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred C. Volkmar of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fred C. Volkmar to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick C. Volkmar and Clara Marie Volkmar (Hiles); his sister Sylvia Volkmar; and his pet Muffin. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Hilyard (Riley) of Hanna City, IL, Fredda Jones (Roger) of Washington, IL and Janel Hart (Chris) of Bartonville, IL; his grandchildren, Ryan Akers, Brittany Volkmar (Aaron Broomfield), Christina Wolfe (Caleb), Sydney Hart, Kenzie Hart, Colton Jones and Wyatt Jones; and his great grandchild Cylus Stewart. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and unofficial grandchildren.
