He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hauck and Helen Seyller Hauck; and his mother-in-law Jacquelyn Harms. He is survived by: his sons, Aaron M. Hauck and Martin E. Hauck; and his grandchildren, Mallory R. Hauck and Markus F. Hauck.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in his name.
