Evert Gene Hanson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evert Gene Hanson (Peoria, Illinois), born in Cabool, Missouri, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hanson and Vesta Hanson (Dennis); his daughter Sherry Hanson; his daughter-in-law Nadra Hanson; and his brothers, Dale, Willard and Darrell.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy June Zick; his children, David Hanson of Princeville, Frank Hanson (Pamela) of Peoria and Deena Keys (Mike) of South Dakota; his sister Vera Gladden (William) of Houston, MO; his grandchildren, Beth, Wendy, Jake, Ben and Samantha; and his great grandchildren, Starr, Jasper and Arrietty. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
