He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Stephen Coughlon (Deborah) of East Peoria, Thomas Coughlon (Teresa Mack) of Highland Park, Michael Coughlon (Tamara) of Washington, Karen Meinke (Lawrence) of Peoria and Kellie Thornton (Bryan) of Elmwood; his grandchildren, Jonathan Coughlon (Kirsten Eriksson), Shannon Schwery (Michael) of Des Moines, IA, Jennifer Randall (Nathan) of San Diego, CA, Megan Meinke of Springfield, IL, Ryan Coughlon (Brette) of Germantown Hills, IL, Madalynn Jenkins (Austen) of Orlando, FL, Mallory Meinke (Luke Wyatt) of Bartonville, Kati and Mitchell Coughlon of Washington; his sons, Oliver and Owen Thornton of Elmwood; and his great grandchildren, Camden Schwery and Violet Jenkins.
