Eric Edward Scoby Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eric Edward Scoby of Peoria, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Eric Edward farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Eric Edward is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his mother Judy Scoby (Queen). He is survived by: his father Edward Scoby; his wife Jennifer Scoby of Chillicothe; and his children, Sierra Scoby of Portland, Genevieve, Cullen Scoby of Peoria, Morgan Brinkley (Robie) of Spring Bay and Niko Kolettis of Peoria. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Northwoods Community Church (10700 N Allen Rd, Peoria, IL 61615). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
