He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Eberle and Alvina Eberle (Oertwig). He is survived by: his wife Carol Kohl; his children, Cindy McCollough of Sante Fe, Don Eberle (Sandy) of Maroa and Dan Eberle (Darcy) of Peoria; and his sister Shirley Crowe of Peoria. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carle Health - Pekin Hospital.
