With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Louise Smithers of Peoria, Illinois, born in Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on April 26, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James F. Perkins and Lela G. Perkins (Tomlinson); her spouse J. T. Smithers; and her siblings, Richard Perkins, Shirley Mccalister and Wilma Flynn.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry T. Smithers (Amber), Daniel E. Smithers (Annette), Jeff S. Smithers and Carla E. Dickerson; her siblings, Gene, Ray, Norman Perkins, Beverly Regal, Rita Taylor and Doris Minders; and her grandchildren, Daniel Smithers (Tierney), Andrew Smithers, Gabriel Smithers, Cody Smithers, Jessica Dickerson, Vincent Dickerson and Jacob Dickeson. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
