He was predeceased by : his parents, James, Sr. Ashby and Margaret Ashby (Davis); and his brother James. He is survived by : his children, Veronica Ashby of Peoria, IL, Karen Ashby of Peoria, IL, Janell Ashby of Peoria, IL, Ella Ashby of Peoria, IL and Donald Ashby, Jr. of Peoria, IL; and his close friend Rev. Brent Foster of Peoria, IL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
