He was predeceased by: his parents, James, Sr. Ashby and Margaret Ashby (Davis); and his brothers, James Ashby, Sr. and Gerald Ashby. He is survived by: his children, Veronica Ashby of Peoria, IL, Karen Ashby of Peoria, IL, Janell Ashby of Peoria, IL, Ella Ashby of Peoria, IL and Donald Ashby, Jr. of Peoria, IL; and his close friend Rev. Brent Foster of Peoria, IL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
