He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence E. Evans and Elsie Evans (Jung); his son Daniel Evans; and his siblings, Jerry Evans, Leonard Evans and Beverly Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy E. Schmitt of Peoria; his daughter Deanne Switzer (Chris) of Peoria; his daughter-in-law Barbara Evans of Washington; his grandchildren, Maggie, Suzi Switzer, Katie Ortiz (Austin) and Karen Dixon (Ben); and his brother Paul Evans (Jill). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
