Dee Young Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2025, at the age of 102, Dee Young of Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Dee farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Dee is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Merchant and Lorena Merchant (Schell); her husband Howard Young; her stepfather Emil Troeltzsch; and her son Greg Young.
She is survived by: her daughter Lori Hall (Ken); and her grandchildren, Lisa Hall, Chris Hall and Shane Young (Katy). She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Timberlake Country Club or the ADDWC in Eureka, IL.
