He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezra Martin Kammerer and Gladys Mary Kammerer (Schwiderski); his stepfather Richard Zeman; his siblings, Sheri Reader, John Schaefer (Dot) and Bill Schaefer (Cathy); and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Long (Nelson) and Jack Pio (Kathy).

He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Pozos (Dan), Jill Robertson (Dale) and Jerry Kammerer (Claudia); his siblings, Kathy Pio (Zeman) and James Zeman; his grandsons, Jason Stevenor (Kristy), David Stevenor (Jessica), Dale Robertson, Jr. (Bre) and Ryan Robertson; his great grandchildren, Jackson Stevenor, Maxwell Stevenor, Henry Stevenor, Finnick Stevenor, Matthew Stevenor, Elaina Robertson and Alice Robertson; and his niece Peni Long. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Temple Assembly of God.
