With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Danny Ray Wakeland of Peoria, Illinois, born in Aledo, Illinois, who passed away on November 8, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wakeland and Wilma Wakeland (Kaufman); his father-in-law Donald Ryan; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Ryan and Rick Ryan.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Ryan; his son Jeremy Wakeland; his grandson Anthony Wakeland (Kelsey); his great grandchildren, Gentry and Miranda Wakeland; his siblings, Sandra Pierce (Chuck), Jeri Brown (Earl), Teri Wakeland (Pete) and Ricky Wakeland; and his niece Lori Huston (Vince).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be given to Karen Wakeland to help assist with final expenses.
