He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Donahue and Catherine Donahue (Malone); his sisters, Patricia Drew and Maureen Crews; and his granddaughter Catherine Isabel Donahue.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Hofer; his children, Spalding, Notre Dame, Daniel III of Peoria, Kathleen of Peoria, Mary Pat of Peoria and Matthew (Melissa) of Milwaukee, WI; and his grandson John Finnegan. He is also survived by one niece, seven nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.
