She is survived by: her children, Leha "Rinnie" Young, Yvette Thompson (Roger) of Peoria, IL and David Young (Heather) of Westfield, IN; her niece Yolunda Cozette Kelly; her grandchildren, Jachonda Johnson (Robert), Charron Thompson of Peoria, IL, Ryan Young of Houston, TX, Nikisha Young of Houston, TX, Demarvis Russell (Latasha) of Westfield, IN., David Young II of Westfield, IN. and Kylie Young of Westfield, IN.; her great grandchildren, Bryan Young of Glassboro, NJ, Bryan "BJ" Davis Jr. of Houston, TX, Daniel Russell of Westfield, IN, Peyton Russell of Westfield, IN, Zeke Russell of Westfield, IN, Ava Young, Connor Young of Arizona and Treasure Thompson of Peoria, IL.; and her siblings, John Young of Peoria, IL, Darrell Young of Inkster, MI, Pedro Young of Lexington, MS., Elma Mathews (Murvin) of Peoria, IL, Geraldine Grimes (Demetrius) of Cincinnati, OH and Rachell Webster of Lexington, MS.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Morning Glory Community Church (2906 N 12 Oaks Dr, Peoria, IL 61604). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
