She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Howard and Willie Mae Howard (Mitchell); her daughter Octavia Howard; and her siblings, Louis, James Howard, Helen Clark, Ruth Howard and Willie B. Doss.

She is survived by: her son Louie Howard of Peoria, IL; her grandchildren, Asia and Brian Baldwin; her sisters, Ernestine, Myrtle Stevenson, Alice Hardin of Hawthorne, CA and Bettye Howard of Newport, AR; and her nephew Larry Riddle of Peoria, IL. She is also survived by other nephews, nieces.
