It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cheryl Lea Stejskal (Peoria, Illinois), who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Swords and Laura Swords; her siblings-in-law, Joan Lhotka and Bill Lhotka; and her parents-in-law, Gustav Stejskal and Elsie Stejskal.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Stejskal; her children, Robert Scott Stejskal (Lorey) of Chillicothe, Jeffrey David Stejskal (Kimberly) of Peoria and Janelle Lea Stejskal of Cocoa Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Taylor June (Austin) of Peoria, Dylan of Peoria and Katelyn Stejskal of Peoria; her child Braedan Wyatt of Cocoa Beach, FL; and also Maddux June. She is also survived by grandmother and doting on her grandchildren and great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Richwoods Christian Church (8115 Knoxville Ave, Peoria, IL 61615). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the CurePSP (psp.org) or the Peoria Rescue Mission.
