It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles J. Decker of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph G. Decker and Estella M. Decker (Logan); his siblings, Joyce Carpenter, Mary Green, Judy Cipich, Lottie Berger and George Decker; and his significant other Judith McLemore.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Decker of Dunedin, FL, Jimmy McLemore of Peoria, IL, Tina Yeaman (Greg) of Pekin, IL and Tracey Dismang (Earl) of Peoria Heights, IL; and his sisters, Estella Sonnenberg, Alice Carrington and Ruth Poplett (Terry Oltman). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forrest Hill United Methodist Church (706 E Forrest Hill Ave, Peoria, IL 61603).
