Charles Grawey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Grawey (Peoria, Illinois), who passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Grawey and Lucille Grawey (Green); his daughter Ellen Roberts; his brother Jerry Grawey; and his grandson Jake Scanlan.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Cornwell; his children, Charles Grawey (Janette) of Wilmington, NC and Janet Scanlan (Jerry); his sister Joanne Rossmiller of Austin, TX; and his son-in-law Kevin Roberts of Scottsdale, AZ.. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas Catholic Church (904 E Lake Ave, Peoria Heights, IL 61616). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
