With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecile E. Amerson of Peoria, Illinois, born in Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on February 23, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil R. Mallory and Iola E. Mallory (Day); her husband John Henderson Foster; her siblings, Patrick Mallory, Michael Mallory, Robert "Doc" Mallory, Verna Mae Marshall and Joyce Bentele; and her daughter Sheila J. Foster.
She is survived by: her former husband Robert L. Amerson; her children, Elder James E. Foster (Diane) of Peoria, Rabbi Brian E. Foster (April) of Peoria, Rev. Brent E. Foster (Sandra) of Peoria, Fai Lowe (Joseph) of Peoria, Todd C. Foster of Peoria, Kevin K. Foster of Peoria, Lisa Y. Usher (Foster) of Peoria and John H. Foster, Jr. (Brenda) of Memphis, TN.; and her sister Suzette Williams of Commerce Township, MI. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
