She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Whitaker and T. L. Louis; her children, Oscar "Tommy" Harris, Jr., Rickey Sledge, Timothesis Sledge and Charlotte; and her siblings, Lionel Whitaker and Oralee Parr.
She is survived by: her husband Oscar Harris, Sr.; her children, Lionel Sledge (Elaine), Darrell Sledge (Shonda), Randy Sledge, LeAndre Sledge (Sherry) and Michelle Sledge-Bevency (Fred); her sisters, Beverly March, Jewel Sanchez and Flora Hopkins; and her sister-in-law Shirley Whitaker of Peoria, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
