She is survived by: her husband Dennis Bechtel; her children, Alicia (Iris) of Orlando, FL, Gregory of Denver, CO and Bradley (Angela) of Plainfield, IL; her grandchildren, Emily, Caroline, Shea and Ryan; and her sister Susan McNeill (Lee) of Charleston, IL..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital for research.
