He is survived by: his wife Joy Elaine Hamilton; and his sons, David A. Schumacher (Leticia) of Houston and Thomas H. Schumacher of Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First English Lutheran Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
