He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlo Sprout and Zelma Sprout Sr. (Powers); his son Troy M. Sprout; and his siblings, Barry Sprout, Willie Thompson and Joyce Hankins.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven W. Sprout of Dekalb, Mark Sprout (Holly Grayson) of Farmington and Matthew Sprout of Peoria Heights; his daughter-in-law Mary Ann Sprout; and his sister Billie Day (John) of Canton. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
