With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Lou Thornton of Peoria Heights, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on November 30, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward E. Younglove and Cloie A. Younglove (Perkins); and her siblings, Warren, Edward Jr., Elizabeth, Edith, Beulah, Jessie and Ruth.
She is survived by: her husband John M. Thornton; and her children, Pete of Peoria Heights, Bill of Peoria Heights, Jim of Peoria Heights, Chris Barney (Dennis) of Morton, Laura Jurina (Lenny) of Peoria Heights and Jody Ford (John) of Peoria Heights. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
