He was predeceased by: his father Ray Wood; his brother Steve "Woody" Wood; and his niece-in-law Brianna Wood. He is survived by: his siblings, Mike Wood (Patti) of Peoria and Deborah Labelle of Baltimore; his sister-in-law Edie Wood of Peoria; his nieces, Amanda Bland (Chris) of Champaign, Vanessa Krumholz (Rich) of Peoria, Erin Kelly (Dillon) of Washington, Chandra Labelle of Baltimore and Cheryl Labelle-Reed (Aaron) of Baltimore; and his nephew Ryan Wood of Peoria. He is also survived by five grandnieces and five grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Thomas Church, St. Vincent De Paul Parish, or the American Diabetes Association.
