He is survived by: his children, Tim Bunting (Kerrybeth), Emily McGee (Troy), John Koontz, Jr. (Sarah) and Hannah Koontz (Tim Coffey); and his siblings, Brenda Miller, Linda Henderson (Troy), Mary Kimble (Martin) and Ben Koontz (Tiffani). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
