He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Johnson and A. Irene Johnson; his stepfather Herbert Parker; and his siblings, J. C. Parker, Edward Lynn Johnson, Gerald Lowe Johnson, Bobby Parker, Edna Joyce Wooden and Betty Janell Guthrie.
He is survived by: his wife Carol E. Binegar; his children, Frannie Waller (Fred) and Jeff Johnson; his stepchildren, Michael Saunders, Michael Binegar (Stacey) and Sarah Hess; and his sister Iris Yvonne Sanders (Robert). He is also survived by two sister-in-laws; and several nieces and nephews.
