He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kensler and Helen Leathers Kensler. He is survived by: his wife Edna Irene Ruggles; his daughters, Christine Gleason (Jeff Kretlow) of Bloomington, IL and Dana Couch (Michael) of Clive, IA; his grandchildren, Daniel Gaul, Sarah Trygar (Mark), Jacob Gleason, Hadley Couch and Braylan Couch; and his siblings, Jean Brown, Bobby Kensler (Mary) and Linda Short (Marion). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be private and a graveside service will be at 2 pm Monday, November 23, 2020 at Ollie Cemetery in Ollie, IA. Masks and social distancing practices will be expected.
