Elizabeth Shields Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Shields of Peoria Heights, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on October 17, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David "LeRoy" Carroll and Grace Carroll (Turner); and her siblings, Mary Ellen Uranich (Danny) of Peoria and John "Jack" Carroll (Perry) of Santa Barbara, California.. She is survived by: her spouse Derell E. Shields (Jack); her children, Patti Gratton (Pat) of Dunlap, Joe (Mary) of Fishers, IN and Jeff (Jennifer) of Peoria Heights; and her sisters, Dorothy Miller (Harry) of West Peoria and Katie Capponi (Norm) of Roanoke, Illinois.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
