He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Firmand and Ilean Firmand (Morrone); his sons, Michael and Mark Firmand; his granddaughter Laura Fox; his siblings, Adeline Firmand, Delores Rita "Laura" Johnson, Michael and Louis "Ray" Firmand; and his sister-in-law Jan Firmand.

He is survived by: his wife Angie Jones; his children, Donita Fox (Dave) of Bourbonnais, Dianna Schuenemann (Helmut) of Boulder Junction and Mathew Firmand of Urbana; his brothers, Lido Firmand (Carol) of Washington and Martin Firmand (Janice) of Peoria; his daughters-in-law, Anita Firmand of Oswego and Kathy Firmand of Peoria; his sister-in-law Norma Jones; and also, Bonnie and Dave Brock. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
