Walter Jon Sandall Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Jon Sandall of Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius E. Sandall and Ethel Sandall (Litterest); his stepfather Ralph Jones; his siblings, Warren Sandall and Marcella Simmons; and his nephew Aaron Sandall.
He is survived by: his former wives, Judy Goss and Brenda McAllister; his wife Jane Ann Smith (Reynolds); his children, Jack Sandall (Kelley) of Pekin, Matthew Sandall (Christina) of Morton, Jill McKinley (Brad) of Pekin and Jennifer Bock (Stephen) of Murphysboro, Tennessee; and his pet Abby. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pekin Police Foundation or to the Greater Peoria Honor Flight.
