He was predeceased by: his nephew Tony Sweet. He is survived by: his son Tom Sweet of Pekin; his granddaughters, Erin Sweet and Lacon Sweet; his great grandchild Leon Sweet; and his siblings, Henry Sweet of Pekin, Ray Sweet of Sagle, Idaho and Catherine Florea of Bonners Ferry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1640, Hagerstown, Maryland 21741.
