With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna M. Moore of Pekin, Illinois, born in Manito, Illinois, who passed away on May 8, 2023 at the age of 101. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Verna M. Moore to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Lussenhop and Carrie Lussenhop (Nannen); her former husband Delbert G. Urish; her husband Hiram Moore; and her son Don Urish.

She is survived by: her sons, Ben Urish, Jerry Urish and Caralee Bohannan; and her sister Martha Hilst of Lafayette, Indiana.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
