She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Guy and Effie Parsons (Donaldson); and her daughter-in-law Shelia Parmenter. She is survived by: her spouse Lowery Parmenter, Jr.; her sons, Joseph M. "Mike" Parmenter (Melody) of Bartonville and Ronald C. Parmenter of Pekin; her grandchildren, Heather M. Parmenter (Cheri Stinson) of Peoria and Erik M. Parmenter (Sally) of Watseka; and her great grandchildren, Anna of Watseka, David of Watseka and Lydia of Watseka.
