He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Monks and Betty Monks (Pryor); his wife Carol McCafferty; his children, Stephanie Gilbert of Groveland, Daniel Monks (Amanda) of Pekin, Branden Everett (Brittany Vance) of Pekin and Terry Louis Monks; and his grandchildren, Brayden, Aysen, Jaxsyn Everett, Chase, Ryan Gilbert, Dylen, Ashton Monks and Madalyn Monks.
