It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Tyler of Pekin, Illinois, born in Magnolia, Illinois, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Isaac and Eva Bessy Farling (Hubble); her granddaughter Jenelle Elayne Tyler; and her siblings, Robert "Bobby" Farling, Ernest Farling and Inez Mosley.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Tyler of Clinton, Gary Tyler (Dawn) of Bloomington, Ron Tyler (Jonna) of Peoria, Roger Tyler (Rachel) of Pleasant Plains, Daniel Tyler of South Pekin and Sue Stone of Pekin; her grandchildren, Grant Tyler (Cassie), Gabe Tyler, Holly Kennedy (Mark), Blake Tyler, Michelle Franzoni, Korbyn Krontz, Draven Krontz, Bentley Tyler, Olivia Tyler, Landen Tyler, Heather Stone, Nathaniel Tyler, Gracie Hendricks (Brian), Jeremiah Tyler, Steven Tyler, Rebecca Tyler, Lizzie Tyler, Tess Olson (Jason), Faith Billings (Tyler), Lydia Tyler, Vanessa Tyler and Danielle Tyler (Ian Tyler); her great grandchildren, Jaali Onna Tyler, Tyler Siddles, Kaitlyn Siddles, Quinn Kennedy, Keighley Tyler, Corbin Tyler, Morgan Kennedy, Avery Tyler, Gianna Franzoni, Eli Tyler, Toby Tyler, Reid Tyler, Dolly Tyler and Dean Hendricks; and her sister Mary Sherwood of Marquette Heights.
It was Ruth's wish that any memorial contributions may be made to FamilyCore, 330 Southwest Washington Street, Peoria, Illinois 61602 to support the social, emotional, and spiritual needs of children and families in Peoria and Tazewell county.
