He is survived by: his wife Leslie Ripper of Pekin; his children, Mark Allen Ripper of Pekin, David Ryan Ripper (Dani Thiel) of Des Moines, IA and Melissa Ann Meier (Matthew) of Dunlap; and his brother Calvin Ripper of Spring Lake. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
