Rick Diegel Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rick Diegel of Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on July 2, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Diegel and Bonnie Loraine Diegel (Van Buren); and his brother Billy Diegel. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Hilst; his sons, Steven Harper (Caroleen) of Pekin, Richard Diegel of Pekin and Michael Diegel of Pekin; his grandchildren, Ciara Harper, Tristen Kohtz (Wally), Stephanie Jones (Rob), Taylor Harper (Michael Artman), Chance Harper, Brieanna and Makayla Diegel; and his siblings, Jay Diegel of Pekin, Bonnie Holeman (Greg) of Pekin, Julie Wiseman of Pekin and Tara Diegel of Pekin. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
