She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mark and Thelma Whitby, Sr. (Foster); her daughter Melissa Sue Whitby; and her siblings, John "Bo" Whitby, Jr., Donald Whitby, Richard Whitby, William "Sonny" Whitby, Francis "Butch" Whitby, John Lewis Whitby and Beverly Froman.

She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Whitby of Bellevue, Kathleen King (David) of Creve Coeur, Christina Whitby of Pekin and BJ Whitby of Pekin; her grandchildren, Brayden Allsup, Bradley Allsup, Jr., Bryson Allsup, Brentley Allsup, Brady Allsup, Brayleigh Allsup, Hunter Draper and Melissa Whitby; and her sister-in-law Joyce Whitby of Pekin.

Memorial contributions may be given to Autism Society, 6110 Executive Boulevard, Suite 305, Rockville, Maryland 20852.
