It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Taylor of Pekin, Illinois, born in Manito, Illinois, who passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Chester and Sarah Gladys Callaway (Tadlock). She is survived by: her husband Everett Taylor; her children, Robert Taylor (Dawn) of Pekin, Everett Taylor (Norma) of Wichita, Roger Taylor of Kilbourne, Kevin Taylor (Tammy) of Pekin, Dana Taylor of Bartonville, Barbara Pierce (Tom) of Bath and Karen Taylor of Texas; and her sister Sarah Leitner of Spring Bay. She is also survived by many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
