He was predeceased by: his parents, John McKeown and Paulina McKeown (Parker); his stepson Kyle Heilman; and his brother James McKeown. He is survived by: his wife Heidi Heilman (McClary); his stepsons, Chad Heilman (Heather) of Pekin and Jeff Heilman of Pekin; his siblings, Janelle Dantone of Pekin and Mark McKeown (Tracy) of Manito; his niece Tara Forbes; his nephews, Austin and Travis McKeown; and his pet Karen.
