With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Leroy Tompkins of Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on February 16, 2023 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leroy and Marilyn Glenda Tompkins (Samms); and his siblings, Cindy Jones, Chuck Tompkins, Gary Tompkins and Roy Tompkins.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth L. Stacks; his son Michael Tompkins; his stepchildren, Leslie Kirtley of Pekin, Roger Taylor of Pekin and Andrew Taylor of Pekin; his grandchildren, Asia Rose Kirtley, Montie Kirtley, Autumn Kirtley and Lucas Taylor; and his siblings, Allen Tompkins (Brad McBeth) of Elmwood, Debra Blumthal of Pekin and Pamela Addams of Pekin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
